The City of Searcy doesn't use a different application for CDL positions. We use the same application for all positions except for the police department. I don't really have a checklist either. My CDL drivers go to a different location for their drug screens (both pre-employment and random), and I have an additional consent that they sign authorizing me to run the required queries through the clearinghouse. Other than that, my process is the same as non-DOT employees.
